Starting Monday, October 16, Knife River construction will begin the process of replacing Suez water lines on Highland View Drive. The road will be open to local traffic only during construction.
This project will take approximately two weeks, according to Knife River project manager Eli Pace. During that time, drivers may experience delays, but all local services, such as garbage pickup and mail delivery, will continue. "Everyone will still have access to their homes," said Pace. The work will begin at the intersection of Highland View and Whidden, continuing down the road to Argyll. Once that project is complete, water line replacement will begin on Wyndemere Drive. Pace estimates that this project will also take about two weeks. |
